We would like to introduce you to the youngest member of our team Arpa.
Who/what is Arpa?
Robotic process automation (RPA) is a technology that uses ‘Bots’. Software ‘Bots’ are simple or complex computer programmes designed to do specific actions, such as automating repetitive tasks or simulating human users, among others.
Arpa is a Bot that we are developing to support the administration of the Welby Innovate modules and other more time-consuming tasks in SystmOne. Arpa will work alongside our systems and your team to ensure that work is kept on top of.
Arpa is already helping the Welby Group to:
- Action and file completed patient questionnaires
- Attach letters to patient records and forwarding to human colleagues to action
- Running and bulk sending messages from clinical reports
- Working hand in hand with our SystmOne protocols, updating patient records e.g. calculating QRISK, CHADs VASC, KFRE, BMI and Creatinine Clearance
- Messaging patients with outcomes of their results
