Clinical Governance Committee

Why do we have/you need a Clinical Governance Committee (CGC)?

Welby Innovate prides itself on ensuring that all of our systems are underpinned by robust clinical governance.

Whilst some clinical governance is very black and white, there are always areas of clinical practice that need a consensus of opinion, which is debated amongst the committee.

The cornerstones of our approach to clinical governance decision making are:

  • Ensuring the safe and consistent care of patients
  • Optimising the use of available resources in primary care
  • Maximising the potential of SystmOne to help practices and patients
