Members of the Group administration team, over 12-month period at The Welby Group of Practices managed to file 47,193 blood test batteries.

For the blood results that our system files the outcomes are consistent based on approved clinical guidelines, e.g. elevated cholesterol that needs statin dose adjusting, new CKD staging that needs coding.

Our system can offer medication initiation and change recommendations that a patient can agree to without the need for a consultation. E.g. Statin initiation letters for any patient where guidance indicates that a statin is recommended, levothyroxine dose adjustments for those over/under-treated, anti-hypertensive medication dose adjustments for high ambulatory or home blood pressure readings.
e.g. most patients who respond to correspondence regarding a statin dose increase are happy to have the dose adjusted without a conversation with a clinician.
Solution
Our system can automatically inform patients about specific results, e.g. HbA1c is 50 and therefore diabetes is well controlled and no need for further follow-up, U&Es need repeating in 3 months due to being slightly abnormal.
The system guides admin staff to inform patients about their results by launching a protocol that highlights the status of results and any still pending.
